Ericsson announced today the launch of a "new generation router, Smart Services Router (SSR), delivers  differentiated and personalized services to consumer .. With high levels of scalability and intelligence, the SSR efficiently handles ever-growing service demands. It will also form the basis of the new mobile core network needed in 4G/LTE deployments".
