Procera Pushes NFV: Boingo, Quadruple Performance, Alliance Program

3(!) press releases on NFV related news from Procera Networks:
  • Boingo Wireless has chosen Procera’s PacketLogic/V™ solution to manage the consumer experience at its wireless hotspot locations. Boingo has installed a virtual CPE solution from Procera to shape network traffic and apply granular profiles that deliver multiple classes of service as part of its S.M.A.R.T Network offering.

  • ..optimized PacketLogic/VTM virtualized software solution to demonstrate over 150Gbps running on Intel® Xeon® Processor E5 v3 Family-based commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) platforms, which eliminates performance barriers associated with deploying network functions virtualization (NFV) solutions.

With this new benchmark, increased from the last reported performance tests of 40Gbps
[see "Procera Validates 40 Gbps Performance for its NFV Product" - here], Procera continues to set the standard in NFV performance, enabling network operators to rapidly gain the deep insight they need to improve network flexibility and service agility.See "Procera Networks delivers over 150Gbps NFV Performance with PacketLogic/V™" - here.
  • ..launched the Procera Alliances Program, aimed at fostering mutually developed and integrated solutions that are jointly monetized and marketed to enterprises and network operators worldwide. While not limited to network functions virtualization (NFV) solutions, the Alliances Program is driven largely by a need within the vendor community for proven interoperability among complimentary virtualized solutions in order to deliver on the promise of NFV.
