Cisco will stop selling the SCE 8000 on October 1st, stop releasing s/w releases on September 30th, 2017 and the last day of support is September 30th, 2020.
Allot offers its Service Gateway SIGMA-E6 (the 6 slots older Service Gateway model) as a replacement.
Some candidates (if they are still using those SCEs) are: Optus [Australia], Spectranet [Nigeria] and Maxis [Malaysia] and NTT Plala
See the details here.
A year ago Cisco released the SCE 10000 (see "Cisco Expands SCE Line with a 60Gbps and Virtual Models" - here).
