While it is sad to see 17,000 people leaving one of the biggest telecommunications vendors, it was interesting to hear (from the point of view of this blog) that Nokia Siemens Networks focus will be on mobile broadband (in which they say they are strong #2) and that intelligent signaling and data traffic management plays a major role in NSN's future.The recent NSN announcement of Liquid Net which includes data traffic management (see "NSN Adds Intelligent Broadband Management" - here) is a major component of this new focus.
