"The Content Service Extension initiative offers a service framework that will allow third party CDNs and Internet content services to extend their footprint deep into operator networks by leveraging operator infrastructure already in place. The goal of the initiative is to promote cooperation among network operators and Internet content ecosystem participants based on open interfaces and interoperability. It is open to broad participation by global CDN providers, network operators, content service providers and technology vendors".
