While Verizon claims for 59% of data traffic coming from LTE (here), for Vodafone (in European markets; VF has LTE in 10 markets - Spain, Australia and Czech Republic added during the quarter) it is still 15%. Total data usage has increased by 60% compared to the same quarter last year, and continues to be the major growth area. The chart below shows the growth in major countries - see more detailed information below. Note the growth in Egypt (+95%), despite (or because of) the "Political and social unrest".
