Sandvine: "Over half of our customer base is now outside North America"

Sandvine announced today that it has "won five new Internet service provider customers. Two of the customers are mobile service providers, two provide DSL access and one is a cable network operator. Reflecting the global footprint of Sandvine’s customer base, two customers come from Europe, one from Japan, and one from the United States"

For many years, most of Sandvine’s business came from the North American cable (MSO) market. This has changed, according to Tom Donnelly, Sandvine’s executive vice president of marketing and sales (picture): "Over half of our customer base, which includes over 200 service providers, is now outside North America".
