YouTube [or Google] - Net Neutrality? Not Here ..

When Google (w/Verizon) said - "we would not now apply most of the wireline [Net Neutrality] principles to wireless, except for the transparency requirement" - see "Google/Verizon Net Neutrality Compromise" - here - this is probably where they were heading, according to RCR Wireless report:

"Partnerships and dialogue with operators are both very important to YouTube" according to the firm’s head of platform partnerships Francisco Varela. .. "[we are] looking to learn and to know what operators are searching for .. absolutely at the core of what operators want to bring to consumers .. It’s very important to us. These partnerships are critical to our success .. [users] want the true YouTube experience they can get at home

See "YouTube seeks partnerships with mobile operators" - here.

Mr. Varela was speaking at Huawei's Global MBB Forum 2010  held on September 23-24 in Oslo, Norway.
