Birdstep Technology announced that "Sprint has selected its EasySmart client to provide intelligent data traffic management for Wi-Fi and WiMAX .. EasySmart .. is an intelligent client for smartphones and tablets that enables seamless connectivity to Wi-Fi with automatic credential handling while providing customer service intelligence, secure connectivity, seamless mobility and marketing capabilities".According to Tammy Parker's report on Fierce Broadband Wireless, Sprint is adding it to Smith Micro's NetWise Director (covered here for its new iOS version) it is already using.
