I am adding today the youngest vendor in this space - Roox. Based in St.Petersburg, Russia and founded in 2009, the company offers a "Smart Traffic Management" solution (here) including a PCRF product:
"RooX PCRF is a centralized policy decision point in the network of a service provider. It enables flexible configuration and control of QoS parameters of the provided services, optimizes network resources usage and provides information for charging the services according to the provided level of QoS. RooX PCRF allows making policy decisions based on the following parameters:
- Subscriber device (Mobile, iPad, TV, PC),
- Subscriber application and protocol (Skype, P2P),
- Content type (Video, MP3),
- Time and date,
- Accumulated usage (per day, week, month),
- Network parameters (e.g. congestion level),
- Subscriber location (home, roaming, specific cell),
- Subscriber profile and enabled services"
There is no indication as for the supported DPI devices.
