Another vendor had joined recently the video caching market, enabling operators to save and monetize OTT video traffic.

Any idea how much these products actually help in reducing upstream bandwidth usage? Or is it more about providing end-users a better experience?
ReplyDeleteIf caching is used for P2P file sharing, then requests for files that are shared by the wireless subscribers are delivered from the cache. This saves upstream wireless bandwidth.
