A new research by Infonetics Research finds that "The percentage of service providers deploying content delivery networks (CDNs) is growing from 38% this year to 50% by 2013".
The research, by Michael Howard (pictured), co-founder and principal analyst, provides the main drivers for CDN use (see chart), and notes that "Though the industry has been talking about IPv6 for over a decade, it’s finally enjoying a quiet evolution, with 83% of the service providers we interviewed already deploying IPv6 or planning to by next year, and all have plans to migrate"
