Sandvine Receives $4M Order

Sandvine announced that it has "..received an expansion order for more than $4 million. The order expands the implementation of Sandvine’s solutions for a major fixed line Communications Service Provider in North America that has been a customer since 2005 .. The customer is using Sandvine’s products to provide business intelligence for capacity planning, customer experience measurement, and other strategic initiatives.

The purchase relates to Sandvine’s Policy Traffic Switch (PTS) 32000 [see "Sandvine Adds a 200Gbps/2RU Appliance w/100GE Interfaces" - here] hardware. Approximately $1 million of the order value is expected to be recognized as revenue in the company’s fourth quarter, with the remainder to be recognized in FY 2016".
